N. Popescu-Bodorin received his BSc in Mathematics and Mechanics from the University of Bucharest, and MSc in Geometry, System Theory and Optimization from Politehnica University of Bucharest, Romania. During his MSc he also took a complementary specialization in Programming and Reduced Order Models and a complimentary fellowship as a Research Assistant in Electrical Engineering granted by Politehnica University of Bucharest.
He finished his PhD in Computer Science (2007-2011) and worked as a Teaching Assistant (2004-2010) and as a Lecturer (2010-2013) in the Dept. of Maths and Comp. Sci., Spiru Haret University, where he founded and leaded the AICL Lab.
He is currently working as a Technical Expert in Lumina Multidisciplinary Research Excellence Center, where he founded and leads the App.Com. Sci. Testing Lab.
His areas of interest are AI, PR, IP/SP, Comp. Logic (modal/fuzzy/crisp/n-valued), Biometrics, Informtion Theory, Robotics, Computability and Sys. Theory.
