Dr. Sikder M. Kamruzzaman is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the Ryerson Communications Lab, Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ryerson University, Toronto, ON, Canada. He is working with Prof. Xavier Fernando and Prof. Muhammad Jaseemuddin. He has over 15 years of teaching and research experience in Electrical and Computer Engineering with seven different universities. He earned the Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Information Engineering from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, South Korea in 2012. He received his M. Sc. Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET) in 2005 and the B.Sc. Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) in 1997. Prior to joining Ryerson University in 2016, he worked as an Assistant Professor with the Department of Software Engineering, College of Computer and Information Sciences, King Saud University, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from 2013 to 2015. He joined the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at the University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh as an Assistant Professor in 2006 and promoted to Associate Professor in 2012. Moreover, he worked with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the International Islamic University Chittagong, Bangladesh and Manarat International University, Bangladesh from 1998 to 2006 as a faculty member. He has authored or coauthored of more than 40 research articles. Besides, he is serving as a reviewer/TPC member and/or organizer in a number of journals/IEEE conferences, respectively.
