I work in the LIAD team (Land and Inshore Acquisition and technology Development) of the Section of Technical Infrastructure IRI, the geophysical research and development department of the OGS as a technologist (technology expert).
The LIAD research unit focuses on of geophysical projects, with particular regard to the conservation of the territory, the issues concerning the hydrogeological slope stability, hydrology, coastal dynamics and high resolution geophisical surveys of land and marine environment.
Since 2005, I contribute to the research and development onboard our research vessels OGS Explora: I deal with acquisition and interpretation of geophysical data of the seabed, participating in various scientific cruises surveys in the Mediterranean Sea, Canada, Greenland, Iceland, Ireland, Norway, Morocco and Spain.
I’m a PADI Rescue Diver and in 2010 I obtained the Reef Check Indo-Pacific Eco Diver Certification by Coral Cay Conservation UK in Cambodia.
