Antonella Mattei has been a Researcher in Medical Statistics (Scientific-Disciplinary sector MED/01) since 2002 at the Department of Life, Health and Environmental Sciences of the University of L'Aquila.
She graduated in Biological Sciences at the University of L'Aquila in June 1990.
She supported the national examination for the license to practice as a biologist in November 1992.
She has earned the title of Doctor of Philosophy in Medical Statistics and Epidemiology Methodology in October 1995.
She specialized in Medical Statistics in November 1997.
Since the academic year 2002/2003 she has taught courses master-level degree courses, bachelor-level degree courses, numerous specializing-master courses and Ph D at the Department of Life, Health and Environmental Sciences of the University of L'Aquila.
She held a Master in Epidemiology February 17, 2005 at the Faculty of Medicine of the University of L'Aquila.
She was a member of the Ethics Committee, as a biostatistician, AUSL Avezzano / Sulmona from August 30, 2006 to June 2010, Resolution no. 525 of 28.7.06.
She was a member of the Ethics Committee, as a biostatistician, 1 ASL Avezzano-Sulmona, L'Aquila for the period 2010-2013.
From October 21, 2011 pursuant to Art. 2 of the Ministerial Decree 29/07/2011, n. 336, is framed in 06/M1 - General and Applied Hygiene and Medical Statistics, macrosectors 06 / M - Public Health.
She is a member of the Italian Society of Hygiene, Public Health and Preventive Medicine (SITI) and Italian Society of Medical Statistics and Clinical Epidemiology (SISMEC).
Mattei has published about 90 papers in the fields of epidemiology, preventive medicine and public health in national and international journals.
