Peter Albion is a Professor in the Faculty of Education at the University of Southern Queensland and Editor-in-Chief for the Journal of Technology and Teacher Education. He teaches and researches in areas related to online learning and the integration of ICT in teacher education. His doctoral work investigated the development of interactive multimedia with a problem-based learning design using materials built around simulated school contexts and delivered in a web-browser. More recently he has worked in online and mobile learning, virtual worlds, and technology education. Prior to joining USQ he was a teacher and principal in secondary schools for 17 years.
