Lisardo Prieto González is a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from University Carlos III of Madrid (UC3M).
Lisardo was born in Madrid in 1981 and received the Technical Computer Science Engineering [Systems] degree in 2007 from Complutense University of Madrid (UCM). After that, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Engineering [Artificial Intelligence] in 2010 from UC3M, and the Master's degree in Telematics Engineering in 2012 from the same university. He worked since 1999 as a freelance, and from 2008 to 2013 in UC3M Telematics Department. During this period, he performed different tasks, mainly related to research and development for national and international projects, focused in protocol design, protocol engineering, network management, advanced networks, multimedia systems and inter/intra-domain multi-path routing protocols. Some important international projects in which he was involved were TRIOLGY and MUSE. National projects include COMPARTE and DRONE (involving the National Institute of Aerospace Technology, INTA and the Spanish Air Force). He also worked as a teaching assistant in the same department for three years, instructing Computer Networks (Degree in Computer Science), where he received Recognition in Teaching Excellence for each given course. From September 2013 to May 2016 he was working for SRH Hochschule Berlin (Germany) together with a research stay at Technische Universität Berlin. During this stay in Germany, he was researching and successfully developing innovative solutions for the integration of Cloud Computing technologies and Artificial Intelligence techniques in healthcare environments, with direct application in PrevenTAB and OpSIT projects.
At mid-2016 he co-founded two SMEs, one in Spain (www.siotsbc.com) and other in Germany (www.marmaloo.com), focused on R+D, Cloud Services and IoT based solutions.
His research interests include complex information architectures, applied artificial intelligence, applied information systems and gamification among others.
