Nanna B. Hartmann is a senior researcher in ecotoxicological effects and risk assessment of nanomaterials and microplastics. She has an M.Sc. in environmental engineering (civil , 2007) and holds a Ph.D. in ecotoxicology of nanomaterials (2011). Her research interests include the development of test methods and guidelines for eco-toxicological testing of particle pollutants, nano- and microplastics as carriers for chemicals in the environment, and occurrences and effects of nano- and microplastics in the environment. She is also interested in the link between science, chemical risk assessment and regulation.
