Hossein Zarrinfar was born in 7/1/1978 in the Mashhad city in Iran. He received his Ph.D. degree in Tehran University of Medical Sciences with an emphasis on diagnosis of aspergillosis and the M.S. degree in Tarbiat modares University with an emphasis in antifungal susceptibility test on candida yeast, Iran. He passed a period of six months of molecular biology in Teikyo University, Japan. He is an assistant professor of Medical Mycology in the department of Medical Parasitology and Mycology & Allergy research center at Mashhad University of Medical Sciences (MUMS). He is teaching Medical Mycology to students of MSc, medicine and residents. In addition, he acts as a researcher in MUMS.
