Marisol B. Correia is a professor in the Information Technologies and Systems scientific area and she is a collaborator of the Centre for Management Studies of IST of the University of Lisbon. She holds a PhD in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the University of the Algarve, a masters in Electronics and Computer Engineering from the University of Lisbon and 5-year undergraduate degree in Informatics Engineering from the University of Coimbra. She participated in two I&DT project: “SRM – Smart Revenue Management” and “FOOTDATA - Sistema Integrado de Gestão de Informação Para o Futebol”. She is a scientific reviewer for some international journals and conferences. She has presented papers at international conferences and has published scientific papers in the field of computation science. Her current research interests include Information and Communication Technologies applied to Hospitality, Management and Tourism, Websites Evaluation, Web Semantic, Business Intelligence, Innovation and Evolutionary Computation. She was the vice-director of ESGHT of the University of the Algarve from 2009 until 2012.
