Biography

Ivy Lai Chun Chun is a graduate of the University of Hong Kong (HKU). She received Bachelor of Arts, Major in Comparative Literature, and Minors in Linguistics and Philosophy, HKU; Master of Arts in English (Literary Studies) and Master of Arts inInterCultural Studies in CUHK. She is interested in the study of languages and culture. She had participated in HKU WorldWide Exchange in Auckland University, New Zealand, and HKU Summer Exchange in Peking University, China. She had hosted a University Campus Radio Program, sharing her cross-cultural experiences with university students. She is dedicated to research and cultural activities in the community. She had published some works in linguistics and literature; and, she had been interviewed by a reporter in the Pearl Report for her outstanding volunteer work in the local Arts and Cultural Scheme. She had been a writer of HKU Newsletter Dialogue. She is now an independent scholar as well as a university administrator in HKU. In her free time, she reads and writes, dances and sings, and explores herself more through academic works.
