I have been working in the School of Computer Science, University of Manchester, UK since 2002.
Currently, I oversee the development of ELIXIR's training portal TeSS and manage technical training for ELIXIR UK. I am also involved in Software and Data Carpentry initiatives through ELIXIR and Software Sustainability Institute.
Previously, I used to oversee software products BioCatalogue (www.biocatalogue.org) and Taverna (www.taverna.org.uk) and program in Ruby on Rails and Java.
Before moving to academia, I used to work as a software developer in industry.
I hold a PhD in Internet security from the School of Computer Science, University of Manchester, UK (2005). I also hold a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Faculty of Mathematics, University of Belgrade, Serbia (1999).
