Andrew Rechnitz received his B.A. from Boston College (English and Philosophy), his M.A. from Colorado State University (Rhetoric and Composition), and his doctorate from The University of Texas at Austin (English), with concentrations in Rhetoric and Digital Literacies and Literatures. His research interests include digital rhetorics, media design and development, 3D printing, early-sophistic pedagogy, rhetorical theory, and histories of rhetoric. In 2011, Rechnitz was honored with the James L. Kinneavy Prize for Scholarship in Rhetoric and Composition and the John Slatin prize for Mastery of Electronic Media in Education.
