Maciej Maryl, Ph.D., assistant professor at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences; founding Director of the Digital Humanities Centre at the Institute of Literary Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences. Literary scholar, sociologist, translator.
He is a member of Teksty Drugie and OpenMethods Editorial Boards. He is a representative of IBL PAN at DARIAH-PL Steering Board, OPERAS Core Group, and CLE Core Group. He is a member of ALLEA E-humanities Working Group, DARIAH Digital Methods and Practices Observatory, and the head of DARIAH-PL Digital Philology Working Group.
In 2013 he defended Ph.D. thesis dedicated to the literary life online. His research interests cover literary communication, multimedia writing, digital editorship, digital humanities and relationships between technology and culture.
