Dr. Davood Beiki acquired a PharmD in 1995 from the Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS) and then finished a PhD in Radiopharmacy in 1999 from TUMS. He gained a postdoctoral training in Radiochemistry/Radiopharmacy at the University of Alberta in 2000. Dr. Beiki has obtained the honor of full professorship of Tehran University of Medical Sciences since 2012. Dr. Beiki has been involved in Research Center for Nuclear Medicine of TUMS as a Co-Founder and Vice-Chair since 2006 and the Deputy for Research, Department of Nuclear Medicine of TUMS since 2005. Also he has been Vise-Director of National Board of Nuclear Medicine since 2007, a member of TUMS advisory council for research since 2006, a member of National Board of Radiopharmacy since 2003, Vice-Chair of National Center of Excellence in Nuclear Medicine since 2008, a member of National Center of Excellence in Radiopharmaceuticals since 2013 and Director of National Board of Radiopharmacy since 2017. So far, Dr. Beiki has contributed in authoring more than 140 papers in prestigious journals and authoring one book chapter. Besides having the position of Iranian Journal of Nuclear Medicine Associate Editor, a journal of published by TUMS, Dr. Beiki has also served on the editorial board of 12 other journals and is a member of many academic societies. Dr. Beiki has cooperated with some key organizations such as NSTRI (Nuclear Science and Technology Research Institute) as a Scientific Advisory Board in Iran (since 2015) and as a member of Iranian Cancer Research Network. The main research interests of Dr. Beiki are Radiopharmaceutical Chemistry and Hospital/Clinical Radiopharmacy.
