Bernardi Pranggono received the B.Eng. degree in Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering from Waseda University, Tokyo, Japan; the M.Dig.Comm degree in Digital Communications from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia; and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Leeds, Leeds, U.K. Currently, he is a Senior Lecturer in Computer Network Engineering at Sheffield Hallam University, U.K. He has previously held research positions at Glasgow Caledonian University, Queen’s University Belfast, Belfast , and University of Leeds. Previously, he held industrial positions at Accenture, Telstra, and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His current research interests include network security, smart-grid cybersecurity, optical networking, cloud computing, and green ICT. Dr. Pranggono has served as Vice-Chair and Technical Program Committee member in numerous international conferences/workshops, such as HPCC and GLOBECOM. He also serves as referee of some renowned journals/conferences, such as IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON POWER DELIVERY, IEEE Communication Magazine, IEEE Computer, IEEE GLOBECOM, IEEE ICC, and Elsevier Optical Switching and Networking.
