Kimberly McKee



Kim is a Senior Lecturer in Social Policy and Housing at the University of Stirling, where she contributes to the Housing Studies Programme. Prior to joining Stirling, Kim worked for 8 years at the University of St Andrews in the School of Geography & Sustainable Development, and was also Director of the Centre for Housing Research (2014-18). She has an inter-disciplinary background with an MRes and PhD in Urban Studies, and an MA (Hons) in Sociology and Social Policy. Kim is currently one of the Editors of Housing Studies, and an editorial board member of Housing Theory & Society. She is a past Chair, Secretary and Communication's Officer of the Housing Studies Association (UK Learned Society) and editorial board member of Social Policy and Society (2010-12). Kim's research interests are in housing inequalities and housing & urban governance, with a particular interest in young people, and low-income households and communities.
