Biography

Amador Vega (Barcelona 1958). BA in Philosophy, University of Barcelona, 1982; PhD in Philosophy, Albert-Ludwigs Universität, Freiburg im Breisgau (Germany), 1992. He holds the Chair in Aesthetics and Art Theory in the Department of Humanities, Universitat Pompeu Fabra. He was Joan Coromines Visiting Professor at the University of Chicago (2007), Visiting Professor at the Université Saint-Josep, Beirut (2010), Visiting Professor at the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Karlsruhe (Germany) /University of Arts and Design (2016-17), and has been Visiting Professor at the Carl G. Jung Institute in Zurich since 2014. President of the Association of Friends of the Bibliotheca Mystica et Philosophica Alois M. Haas.
