Baghdad Ouddane (2013-08-05)
Dr. Baghdad OUDDANE, Professor in Lille 1 University, has obtained his PhD in Environmental Chemistry in 1990 and his HDR (Higher Degree by Research) in 1997 at Lille 1 University. Lecturer (1992-2003) and Professor in Lille1 University since 2003. He is the Team Leader of the group Marine and Analytical Chemistry (UMR 8217 CNRS- Lille 1 Geosystemes). He is the Head of Master "Water Treatment" in Lille1 University. Elected member of the National Universities Commission (CNU section 32), elected member in the Academic Board of Lille1 University and an elected member of the Council of the Chemistry Department. His research activity covers a broad spectrum of environmental studies of the speciation of trace metals in natural waters and sediments, studies of biogeochemical processes in aquatic environments (rivers, canals and coastal areas). He has supervised more than 20 graduation courses MASTER and 22 PhD Thesis.
Publications: 115 papers in international journals and more than 197 communications in national and international conferences, Co-authors of four books (two popular science). Expertise of several ANR applications, participation in several thesis committees in France and foreign universities. Member of editorial board of several scientific journals and occasional referee in some international journals in environmental topics (Chemosphere, ES&T, Environmental Pollution, Biogeochemistry, Journal of Environmental Monitoring, AAS Journal, Water Research).
