Biography
Since 1987 he has worked in the R&D Departments of firms making business in the field of factory automation; in 1990 he joined the Department of Mechanics of the University of Genova as researcher; from 1998 to 2005 he has been Associate Professor at the Faculty of Engineering of the Polytechnic University of Marche in Ancona, where he actually serves as Professor of "Machine Mechanics". His main research fields are the analysis and design of dynamic mechanical systems where mechanical structure and control architecture are considered with an integrated approach; in particular he has worked on industrial applications like factory automation and robotics, with special interest for parallel kinematics machines.
