Graduated from Biology in 2009 (bachelor’s degree) and 2010 (licentiate degree) by USP (São Paulo, Brazil). Master in Zoology, also by USP, in 2011, and a PhD in Paleontology (University of Tübingen, Germany, 2016).
His main research interest is mollusks, especially land and freshwater snails. He works with both fossil and recent animals, in the areas of taxonomy / systematics, paleoecology and biogeography; also has experience with the curatorship of fossil and recent museum collections. He is often involved in science communication and outreach.
