Yady Tatiana Solano Correa received the Bachelor (B.S.) degree in Physics Engineering (honorable mention) at the University of Cauca, Cauca, Colombia, in 2011. She worked as a researcher and teaching assistant for the research groups: Optics and Laser Group (GOL), Environmental Studies Group (GEA) and CIAgua group from 2009 to 2013. She is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree as member of the Remote Sensing Laboratory at the Department of Information and Communication Technologies, University of Trento and the Remote Sensing for Digital Earth Unit, Fondazione Bruno Kessler, Trento, Italy.
Her research interests include remote sensing applications, change detection in multispectral and very high resolution images, multitemporal analysis, pattern recognition, image classification, and machine learning. She is a referee for the IEEE JOURNAL OF SELECTED TOPICS IN APPLIED EARTH OBSERVATIONS AND REMOTE SENSING.
