Postdoctoral researcher in the fields of computer vision and machine learning, with an emphasis on their application to medical imaging. My current work at iLab involves the characterization and diagnosis of diseases such as diabetic retinopathy and glaucoma, through the analysis of retinal fundus photographs and related modalities.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Computer Science with a thesis entitled "Automated Methods for Retinopathy and Glaucoma Screening" from the Department of Computer Science at the National University of Singapore defended in 2015, and also received a B.Comp. (Hons) in Computer Science and a B.A. in Economics from the same institution in 2009.
