Ph D. in Economics in the University of Oviedo (Spain) since 2009 under the supervision of Antonio Álvarez-Pinilla. In 2009 I moved to the University of Castilla-La Mancha in the campus of Ciudad Real working in the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences. In 2010 I obtained a tenured position (Contratado Doctor) teaching Microeconomics.
My fields of especialization are Efficiency and Productivity Analysis, Sports Economics and Applied Econometrics and I have published several papers using data from the dairy sector (e.g., European Review of Agricultural Economics, Journal of Dairy Science), fisheries (e.g., Food Policy, Australian Journal of Agricultural and Resource Economics), football (Journal of Sports Economics), tennis (Journal of Sports Economics, International Journal of Forecasting), basketball (Journal of Sports Economics).
Besides, teaching and research I has served two years as the Coordinator for International Affairs in the Faculty of Law and Social Sciences and I am Academic Director in the ViceChancellor for Economic Affairs in the University of Castilla-La Mancha.
