Yong Zhang has been a university professor at the USTB since 2004. He has published over 200 peer reviewed papers, including two review papers on the journal of "Progress in Materials Science (PMS)", each is about 100 pages. He authored a book entitled "Amorphous and High entropy Alloys" by Science of China Publisher, in 2010. He contributed a chapter entitled "Magnetic Fibers" for a book entitled "Magnetic Sensors: Development Trends and Applications" by Intech publisher, in 2017. He proposed a parameter to evaluate the configurational entropic effect over the enthalpy above the melting temperature, which has been verified effective to predict the phase formation in the multicomponent materials.
