Yong Zhang has been a university professor at the USTB since 2004. He has published over 200 peer reviewed papers, including two review papers on the journal of "Progress in Materials Science (PMS)", one is on the topic of high-entropy alloys and another is about the plastic flow for the materials. He authored a book entitled "Amorphous and High entropy Alloys" by Science of China Publisher, in 2010. He contributed a chapter entitled "Magnetic Fibers" for a book entitled "Magnetic Sensors: Development Trends and Applications" by Intech publisher, in 2017. He was involved in organizing an international conference entitled "High-entropy Alloys" for MRS fall meeting, in Boston, 2016; “Workshop on large fluctuation and collective phenomena in materials” in MS&T, in Columbus, 2015.
