Kjetil Haugen



Kjetil Kåre Haugen (born June 22 1959 in Kristiansund Norway) is a researcher in Logistics and Sport Management. Haugen holds a PhD in Stochastic Optimization/Computer Science from NTNU (1991). He is probably best known for his work in Game Theory and Soccer (summarized in his book: "Always Change a Winning Team" from 2012), and has published more than 50 internationally refereed papers in journals like; Public Choice, European Journal of Operations Research, PLoS ONE and Journal of Sports Economics to name a few. Kjetil Haugen is a (full) professor in Logistics at Molde University College (from 2005), and holds competence for a (full) professorship in Sport Management (2011) - as the first Norwegian.
