Mark Skidmore is Professor and Morris Chair in State and Local Government Finance at Michigan State University. He serves as Co-editor of the Journal of Urban Affairs and serves on the Editorial Board of ISRN Economics. Professor Skidmore’s research has focused on public sector economics and economic development. His work has been funded by organizations such as the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, the Urban Institute, USAID, and the Fulbright Program. His articles have in appeared in journals such as Economic Inquiry, Economics Letters, Journal of Urban Economics, Land Economics, National Tax Journal, Public Choice, and Regional Science and Urban Economics.
