Antonio is a Senior Research Advisor working in a broad range of areas at the Behavioural Insights Team. He has worked in widening access to university, reducing loneliness, and is currently focused on the evaluation and design of social cohesion programmes.
Antonio studied Environmental Biology and worked as a documentary photographer, before doing an MSc on Human Evolution and Behaviour from University College London (UCL). He now holds a PhD in Anthropology from UCL on the relationship between cooperation and conflict using the case study of the Catholic and Protestant communities in Northern Ireland. His academic work is based on the use naturalistic measures and field experiments to determine how altruism varies based on different individual and environmental factors.
I also work at the Behavioural Insights Team on a broad range of topics, from reducing loneliness, improving money management and raising educational attainment.
