Ivonne Escorcia Carranza received the B.E. degree from John Brown University, Siloam Springs, AR, USA, in 2007, the M.S.E.E. degree from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville, AR, USA, in 2010, and the Ph.D. degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, U.K., in 2015. She is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the School of Engineering, University of Glasgow, working with the Microsystem Technology group.
She is the Lead Researcher in the design and characterization of CMOS Terahertz detectors. Her research interests include mixed-signal IC design, CMOS sensors and Terahertz imaging. She is a member of the Eta Kappa Nu.
