Roberta Nipoti has been graduated in Solid State Physics “cum laudae” at the University of Bologna in 1979. She has been early stage researcher in the Group of Solid State Physics of the Ecole Normale Superioure at the University of Paris VI in Paris (France) in the years 1981 and 1986.
She has joined the Italian National Council of Research (CNR) in Bologna in 1984 where she still works as senior researcher.
The experience and expertise of Roberta Nipoti include the ion beam processing and ion beam analysis of thin films for solid state microelectronics as well as the development of a planar technologies for the fabrication of semiconductors electronics devices.
Her current research interest concerns the exploitation of the ion beam processing of SiC for electronic and micro-system devices for harsh environment.
