Alicia Gil Torres, adjunct professor of Journalism at the University of Valladolid. Degree in Advertising and Public Relations (specialization in Communication Management), Master in Image Advice and Political Consulting and Doctor of Journalism.
She is also part of the research group New Trends in Communication in the University of Valladolid (NUTECO) and a member of the team research group: "The online campaign strategies of the Spanish political parties: 2015-2016". A R+D+I research group funded by the State Program of Research, Development and Innovation oriented to the challenges of society, in the Complutense University of Madrid.
Her area of expertise is Political and Electoral Communication and her research focus in election campaigns, political marketing and grassroots. She also works as freelance consultant; she advises and offers training in communication to various organizations and politicians.
