Agnethe Bach Fynbo (primary school teacher, b. 1928).

1998: M.Sc. degree in physics and mathematics, Aarhus University, Denmark.
2000: Ph.D. degree in natural science (astrophysics), Aarhus University, Denmark (supervisors Bjarne Thomsen and Palle Møller). One year of my graduate study was carried out at ESO, Garching, Germany under a studentship contract. 3 months were spent at the Space Telescope Science Institute, Baltimore, US.

2002 - 2004: Assistant professor, IFA, University of Aarhus, Denmark on the Carlsberg- funded project “Danish use of the VLT”

2005 - 2015: Member of the Dark Cosmology Centre. I have been responsible for the “dark age” theme at the centre including the use of GRBs as probes of star-formation at high redshifts.
