Personal Information


Stefan Berres graduated from Mathematics at Technical University Darmstadt in 2001 and received his doctoral degree in applied mathematics from the University Stuttgart in 2006. Before moving to the Universidad Católica de Temuco, Professor Berres has held visiting positions at the Universidad de Concepción and IMPA in Rio de Janeiro. His research focuses on the numerical solution of ordinary and time-dependent partial differential equations and on mathematical modeling in chemical engineering and biology.
