Biography

Reader in Evolutionary Ecology and Conservation, School of Biological Sciences, Royal Holloway, University of London. 1992 BA in Zoology, Oxford. 1997 PhD in Biology, Stanford. 1998-2001 Post-doctoral Fellow, ETH-Zürich. 2002-2008 Lecturer/Senior Lecturer, Trinity College Dublin. Overview of current research: Research in my group has three main strands, all of which are linked by the study system. We are interested in (i) the evolutionary ecology of host-parasite interactions, (ii) the conservation biology of insects, and (iii) the biology of social insects
