Denis Delisle Rodríguez born at the Santiago de Cuba city, Cuba. He finished the career in Telecommunication and Electronic Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering from the University of Oriente (UO), Santiago de Cuba, Cuba (2005). At 2005, he jointed to the Center of Medical Biophysics from the University of Oriente, developing prototypes for biomedical research, such as movement analysis using surface electromyography (EMG) signals, and studies based on the pulse rate variability using electrocardiogram and photoplethysmography signals. He completed the Master in Science in Biomedical Engineering at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering from the University of Oriente, Santiago de Cuba, Cuba (2013). At 2017, he concluded the PhD in Electrical Engineering in the area of Robotic and Automation Intelligent, at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Espirito Santo, Brasil (2017). Currently, he is focused on biomedical signal processing, acting on the following subjects: electroencephalogram (EEG), EMG, pattern recognition applied to brain-computer interfaces(BCIs) for real and motor imagery task recognition, as well as emotion recognition using images.
