Denis Peruzzo graduated in Electronic Engineering at the University of Padova (Italy) in 2004. In 2009, he received the Ph.D. degree in Bioengineering from the University of Padova (Italy) defending the thesis “Quantification of cerebral hemodynamic from Dynamic Susceptibility Contrast - Magnetic Resonance Imaging technique”.
Ha has been Post-Doc Fellow at the Department of Information Engineering (University of Padova, Italy), Post-Doc Research Fellow at the Division of Molecular Imaging and Neuropathology, New York State Psychiatric Institute (Columbia University, NY, United States) and Post-Doc Fellow at the department of Computer Science in the University of Verona. He is now enrolled as MRI Scientist at the Scientific Institute, IRCCS "Eugenio Medea" (Department of Neuroimaging).
His research interests include the analysis and the quantification of functional imaging data produced by using both magnetic resonance and PET techniques. Recently, he started working also in machine learning and classification algorithms applied to MRI images.
