Biography

Dr. Xiufeng Wang is a professor in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, Xiangtan University, China. He received his Ph.D. (2011) from Xiangtan University, China. From 2016 to 2017, he worked as a visiting scholar at Northwestern University, USA. His research group focuses on the design, fabrication and application of epidermal microfluidic devices, and multimodal sensors for biomedicine. He has published more than 60 peer-reviewed publications, and is a reviewer for 50 international journals. His work has been recognized through the reception of numerous awards, including 2021 Natural Science Award of Hunan Province, 2018 Excellent Youth Award in Chinese Society of Physics and Mechanics, among others. Now his research is supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China (12172319), Natural Science Foundation of Hunan Province (2021JJ30648), Scientific Research Fund (2018-356) of Hunan Provincial Education Department and Furong Scholar Program.
