My research is mainly focused on the study of new components for fusion technology. Such studies are based on numerical simulations with own developed algorithms in the OpenFOAM toolkit framework.
Current studies are: (1) magneto-convective flows, (2) tritium transport through multi-phase flows, (3) breeding blanket design (fusion technology), (4) permeator against vaccum design (fusion technology).
Recently, a new research line has been defined in the field of engine technology. The goal is study the viability of corona ignition in engines. The research includes both experimental and numerical studies.
