Presently, I am an Assistant Professor. I teach gross anatomy to PT, PA, MD and graduate students. My scholarly efforts center around the investigation of constructivist approaches in technology-enabled learning environments (e.g., wiki usage, interactive modules, cadaver skin examination, etc..) to improve learning outcomes in anatomy courses. My service component includes oversight of operations of the Colorado State Anatomical Board.
My doctoral dissertation studies focused on the consequences of healthy human aging on the behavior of single motor units during voluntary contractions.
