Two long-standing fields of research: (a) Public social policy and welfare state; and (b) Territorial politics (multi-level governance and Europeanisation). Both have been carried out from a comparative perspective. Principal investigator of 15 out of 25 research projects awarded competitively by Spanish and European institutions.
