Dr. Massimiliano Borrello holds a PhD in Improvement and Management of Agricultural Resources and Forests from University of Naples Federico II (Italy). He graduated with a dissertation on Circular Economy: "Circular economy in the agri-food sector: going beyond sustainability – Challenges and consumers’ participation". Currently, Dr. Borrello is postdoctoral fellow at the ‘Associazione Scientifica Centro di Portici – ONLUS’ (Ialy) in collaboration with the University of Naples Federico II. His research rotates around sustainable innovations in the agro-industrial sector, with a particular focus un nature-inspired organizational innovations, circular economy and consumer studies. He is currently involved in studies concerning economic and sustainability aspects of the use of insects as food and feed.
