PhD. Claudia Mazo is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at CeADAR - University College Dublin and Oncomark. Claudia studied System Engineer (Computer Science) at the University of Valle (Cali-Colombia) and she has a double degree PhD in Engineering with Emphasis in Computer Science at the University of Valle and PhD in Production Engineering and Computing at the University of León (León-Spain). Claudia received three mentions to the doctoral thesis: International and Cum Laude Mentions offered by the University of Leon and Meritoria mention by the University of Valle. She has had enjoyed of three scholarships: (i) during 2009-2010 the “Young Researchers and Innovators Program” in Colombia awarded by Colciencias; (ii) in 2011 the “Doctoral Studies in Colombia” awarded by Colciencias; (iii) in 2015 the “Completion of Doctorate Theses, Co-tutela, at the Castilla and León Universities” awarded by AUIP. Since 2017 she is part of the e-Health & Biomedical Applications department and specialises in pattern recognition, computer vision and knowledge modelling. She has achieved publications in national conferences, international conferences and journals with recognised impact, as the main author. She is a member of the Multimedia and Computer Vision Group and Teblami (Soft and Mineralized Tissues) research groups of the Universidad del Valle.
