Gwen Bouvier has taught courses across social media (practice and theory), (digital) journalism, international media, research methods and representation theory. Her research has focused on news, discourse analysis, and social media and civic debate. Dr Bouvier is currently an Assistant Professor at Maynooth University. She is a Review Editor for the Journal of Multicultural Discourses and the Editorial Assistant for Social Semiotics. Her latest publications include Bouvier, G.
