Biography

I am an Assistant Professor at SDU Biorobotics, part of the Maersk Mc-Kinney Møller Institute at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). I earned my PhD in Biorobotics from the BioRobotics Institute at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, Italy, in 2021. My research is dedicated to addressing environmental challenges by creating eco-friendly soft robots, using a systems approach that integrates design, fabrication, control, learning, and sustainability. With a strong international network and a portfolio of publications in top-tier journals, I am committed to advancing innovation in this field.
