Dr. Nan-Jie Xu (徐楠杰) is a Principal Investigator of Department of Anatomy and Physiology at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. His major research interests are receptor signaling upon nerve wiring/synapse formation and plasticity of neural circuits in the young and adult brain. The research program in the laboratory aims to investigate and clarify critical roles for neural receptors and signaling molecules in the development of normal brain function and neurological/mental disorders, such as autism and Alzheimer's disease.
