Biography

Prof. X. Lladó, received the B.S. degree in Computer Science (1999) and the PhD in Computer Engineering (2004) from the University of Girona. From 2004 until 2006, he was a Post-doctoral Research Assistant in the Department of Computer Science at Queen Mary, University of London. Currently, he is an Associate Professor of the Department of Computer Architecture and Technology of the University of Girona. His research interests are in the field of Image Processing, Pattern Recognition and Computer Vision, where he is currently leading different research projects and participating in transferring technology to the industry. He has published more than 70 JCR journals and more than 150 articles in conferences with peer review. He is a Senior member of the IEEE.
