Biography

Technical Research Officer/Research Fellow in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Birmingham, UK. I am an Institute of Mechanical Engineer chartered professional with more than 12 years of industrial and research experience in the field of advanced digital manufacturing, with particular expertise in the fields of hybrid manufacturing and smart material developments. I have worked with innovative companies like Siemens AG, General Electric, and MTC to design and develop sustainable smart manufacturing processes. I have delivered industrial projects worth more than £1 million in my various roles in various organisations. I have a strong background in the fundamentals of manufacturing engineering and more than 12 high-quality publications, 1 patent and a book chapter.
