Mariluz Fernandez-Alles is Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Business and Administration at the University of Cadiz, Spain. Her research interests include human resource management, innovation, neoinstitutional theory academic spin-offs and talent management. She is co-author of two books, including Strategic Human Resource Management (Pearson Prentice Hall), and numerous journal articles in the International Journal of Cross Cultural Management, Journal of Knowledge Management, European Journal of Innovation Management, Journal of Organisational Change Management, Human Relations, The International Journal of Human Resource Management and Journal of Change Management, International Small Business Journal, Journal of the American Society Information System, Universia Business Review. She teaches mainly in the areas of strategic human resource management, organisational behaviour, and innovation management. She has participated in six Spanish research projects with competitive funding about innovation, human resource management, cultural and creative firms and academic spin offs. Now is Director of a research project about international academic spin offs.
