Current position: Assistant professor, Division of Rheumatology, University and IRCCS Policlinico S. Matteo Foundation, Pavia (PV), Italy Lorenzo Cavagna obtained the medical degree at the University of Pavia (PV), Italy, in 1995 (110/110 cum laude) and the specialization in Rheumatology (70/70 cum laude) at the University of Milan (MI), Italy, in 1999. Lorenzo Cavagna then won an IRCCS Policlinico San Matteo Foundation research grant in rheumatology (from 2001 to 2002) with the project "Autologous peripheral stem cell transplantation in refractory rheumatoid arthritis” In 2002 Lorenzo Cavagna obtained the current working position (Assistant professor, Division of Rheumatology, University and IRCCS Policlinico S. Matteo Foundation, Pavia (PV), Italy). In these years he was particularly experienced in the management of connective tissue diseases and of Rheumatoid arthritis. From 2/1/213 Lorenzo Cavagna is Physician in Chief of the Lupus outpatient Clinic of the Division of Rheumatology, University and IRCCS Policlinico S. Matteo Foundation, Pavia (PV), Italy. Concomitantly Lorenzo is co-responsible of the Inpatient clinic of the same Division (from 1/13). Former experiences at the Division of Rheumatology, University and IRCCS Policlinico S.
