Biography

Thar Albarody is currently a senior lecturer in Electro-Mechanical Eng. Dept at University Technology Iraq♣. His research concentrated on “Structronics” an integration of mechatronic systems into structure (i.e., structure distributed electronics) with special interests in embedded modulated control in continuum heterogenous composite. Proficiency comprises design of structronics propulsion system, MEMS, NEMS and SHM. Offers expertise specific to engineering of condensed matter such as: perovskite, electrical/magnetic semiconductor, piezoelectric, magnetostrictive, pyroelectric, etc. casted in a form of co‐continuous/periodic cellular composites or organs.
His scientific research efforts concentrate on photon-phonon interaction in engineered composite with special interests in bending and trapping photon or phonon waves in structronics. His research not limited to fundamental approaches, but also actively pursuing proof of concept via data-driven design, and systematic prototyping for the applications of sensors, transducers, actuators, and autonomous structural health monitoring systems.
