Dr Linlan Huang

Biography

Dr Linlan Huang (LLB, MSc, LLM, PhD, PGCAP, FHEA, MCMI) actively engage in higher education, academic research and professional service. As a business education expert, Linlan has extensive experience in convening and delivering modules at the foundation, undergraduate and postgraduate levels. As a productive researcher, Linlan published a series of research outputs, won a number of research grants, and contributed well-recognized service, including peer review and session chairship, to premier professional bodies in his field: Academy of International Business (AIB), Academy of Management (AOM), and British Academy of Management (BAM).

Before joining Birmingham City University, Linlan was appointed Bayes Fellow in Management at Bayes Business School (formerly Cass), City, University of London, pioneering world-leading teaching and research. In his early academic career, Linlan was a visiting lecturer at Kaplan International College London and a tutor for MSc programmes at SOAS University of London.

Linlan also works closely with the industry. Piror to joining academia, he served as a partner and the director of international business at Chungrui Tax Group (Hangzhou), a Nexia International member responsible for global expansion strategy and the R&D of Smart Tax Systems for Chinese SMEs. He has undertaken private and public consultation projects in China on people development, digitalization, international marketing and business development since 2015.
